Dura Float® Modular Pontoons offer a wide variety of uses. High impact polyethylene material will not rust, corrode or deteriorate from contact with salt water, acids chemicals, fuels, or solvents. Tough, heavy walls resist impact or puncture, which exceeds that of steel or aluminum. The 17" and 26" pontoons provide durable, economical flotation for boats, docks, survey vessels, oil spills, booms, pipeline floats, oceanographic floats, work barges, houseboats, and instrument platforms, as well as many other uses. Dura Float® pontoons provide excellent stability for all kinds of water conditions. 17" flats are primarily for docks and marinas that will accommodate small crafts, up to 28" freeboard or 30" over all length. 26" flats are designed for heavy duty requirements such as gas docks, dredge line flotation, work barges and marinas where the boats have a free board in excess of 24". Pontoons are smooth and resistant to algae growth. Pontoons are available in two colors, blue and black. Pontoons resist ultraviolet light. To prevent sinking in the event of a fracture, the interior is composed of high-density urethane, which is closed cell foam.
